  2. I am not sure that Braggs Apple cider vinegar is the answer, although as I started reading I wondered if this was going to be a magic tonic.
    Any lifestyle that incorporates less or no sugar, good nutrition and regular exercise will assist with weight loss. I stick to the Eat Right 4 Your Type regime. Have you investigated that method of eating? It has helped me to maintain a good weight and resist a lot of illness. Check it out.

  3. Probably not for weight loss, but I think it’s worth a try of the other health benefits. I’ve heard of the benefits of taking natural vinegar but I’ve never really given it a serious try. Do you think the taste is acceptable for toddlers? Or will the acidic quality of the cider too strong for them?

    1. No I really wouldn’t recommend this for toddlers Kenny – far too acidic. As far as weight loss – a BIG yes! This is now a known natural aid for weight loss (look it up!).

  4. I’ve used Braggs for about ten years now. I agree with everything you say here in this article. Braggs is one of those health resources you should always have in your medicine cabinet. It is really good for detoxifying and I’ve also had it help with migraine headaches and severe heartburn. I’ve had friends and family complain about the taste but you can dilute with water and it’s not so bad. Plus, you get used to it over time. Great article. Thanks for sharing.

    Interesting article, I had never heard of using ACV as a diet aid.

    I’m not sure if it would work to lose weight but I know that ACV has a host of health benefits. I try to drink some watered down with warm water every day because the number of overall health advantages it has is huge.

    Do you regularly drink it and if so, how do you consume it? (sometimes the acidity and taste take over with warm water…yuck!)

    It is also easy to make your own ACV if you save the ‘mother’ from the Braggs bottle!

      I always drink it mixed in with pure grapefruit juice as it manages to hide the taste really well but it doesn’t half make your eyes water at times!

      Another way is to use it as part of a salad dressing – say with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar (just make sure you are generous with the apple cider vinegar serving).

  6. I’ve heard so much and Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar and it’s all good. I do take it everyday and I do have to say that the taste is awful. But for the benefits you get, it’s worth it. It’s helped my blood sugar and with losing weight. I’m adding a little bit more each day and it shows inside and out.

    1. Yeah the taste is awful Rob – no getting away from that!

      I also recommend never drinking it neat – try mixing it with some organic grapefruit juice (it seems to mix well and taste half decent!).
